Crawl, fix, verify

1. Crawl

I run the site through a crawler, a program that reads it the way Google does, and cross-check the results with Search Console. The result is a numbered list of problems, most serious first.

2. Fix

I make the fixes myself, directly on the site or through your developer. Before touching anything delicate (redirects, templates, plugins) I let you know and make sure there’s a backup.

3. Verify

I crawl again, ask Google to recrawl the fixed pages, and hand you the before and after. Some changes show within days, others take weeks. Google works to its own schedule and doesn't take reminders.
